You know you’re a geek when…
- You remember how to use DOS.
- You use Linux or Unix.
- You think of a foreign language to be Python or C++.
- You hear Java, you don’t think about coffee.
- You HAVE to check your email every 30 minutes.
- You’ve thought about getting at tattoo of something from a video game.
- You see “Wine for Dummies,” you think about running Windows programs on your Linux/MAC.
- You have more email addresses than shoes.
- You think of random If()Then statements.
- You paid $3000 for your computer and $1000 for your car.
- Everyone in the neighborhood goes to your house to get their computer fixed.
- You know what Telnet is.
- You probably have a flash drive on your keychain.
- You watch a sci-fi movie and correct all the anomalies.
- You have never backed up your hard drive because it would take a week.
- The sales people at Best Buy can’t answer any of your questions.
- You can type 90 wpm but can’t read your own handwriting. (So my brother)
- You know what HTTP and URL stand for.
- You know how to take a computer apart and put it back together.
